I don't think spanish is hard to pronounce for malay speakers. Like malay, it sounds exactly how it spells except in certain cases. In fact, certain pronunciation like the alphabet ñ in spanish, we also have that in malay. As how we say "nyonya" "nyanyi" in spanish too... they have the nyo nya nyi sounds...
For instance, años , señor, señorita... we should not have a problem to say these words.... ( nyo ) ....
